Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not sure if this has been done (if it has please ignore this then), I've taken a look and found a few threads on various Photographers but I think it'd be nice to have a central thread for discussion on which photographers in particular all the Boardsies would cite as inspiration or indeed just admire their work.

I'll start off with a local photographer (Well he's German but lives in Vancouver) whose work I've had the pleasure of viewing a number of times in some local gallerys - Marc Koegel - Website

A local art gallery near my workplace regularly exhibits work by a small selection of local and National artists and Photographers. I happened upon Marc's stuff one lunchtime and decided to read up a bit on it - I'm mainly focusing on his landscape shots btw. Interestingly though, the person I was with hated this type of photography and thought it bland and uninteresting, but it's that emptiness that I love about it - each to their own I guess :) Anyway, I've decided that my summer project is going to be to attempt at recreating some of these results, I've already gone out and found a few suitable subjects for it.

Anyone else have a photographer they particularly like? I'd love some recommendations of who to check out next! (please post examples of their work if you can)
