Wholemeal bagel recipe

Hi all, Just wondering if anyone knows of an easy recipe to make wholemeal bagels without a breadmaker? I've recently re-discovered my love for bagels but I don't eat white bread and I'm sick of only being able to get wholemeal ones in the Bagel Factory (my local Tesco used to do them but not anymore) Any ideas?
