Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I tried it, have it working fine, its a little sluggish and the sound is not the best even after i installed the audio drivers. i do only have it running with 1gb of ram so maybe i could use more. It would not work on my Amd machine but works fine on the intel machine.

    is it much hassle?

not really, I followed the instructions and everything went to plan, just make sure you follow all the instructions. I didn't the first time and things didn't work out. I might try it again on my AMD machine maybe I missed something but I know the "hackintosh" is more compatible with Intel systems.

It shouldn't work on an AMD system, ever. A few years ago this wouldn't have worked on an Intel, you would have needed a PowerPC (PPC) CPU. Then Apple swapped to Intel and added in support for that instruction set and here we are. You'll be messing with kernals or emulation to emulate the intel instructions on an AMD processor but most, if not all of them, are bugged in some way or another.

you can get them to work on AMD systems now, i think only certain versions of osx will work but i have read of it being done.

It works fine, little slow but its functional, especially when booted up fully, I'm using VMware but its the same kinda idea really
