Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

    I've a question on the aforementioned, as it was downloaded free with an update & i think it came free with an updated version of FireFox 3.6.6 but not too sure?

    What use is it if i use AVG 9.0, & even then i received the yahoo toolbar which is something i really dont want as well!

    Can anyone put some light on this & can i revert back to the earlier versions or should i stay with these updated versions.

    They both installed with something You installed, You weren't careful enough and didn't uncheck the box. If You got AVG You don't need it, uninstall it and the yahoo toolbar (remove google toolbar or others too, they only spying in You) in add/remove programs in control panel

    Yeah in almost all cases those Norton/McAfee security scanner type programs are nothing but junk. They dont offer virus protection, or removal. All they do is say "Look I found a problem, Buy Me to fix it."

    McAfee usually shows up on Flash updates and Yahoo on just about everything from Java updates to downloads of freeware like ccleaner and defraggler. By embedded those Options into their installers, Piriform etc. make up a bit of their costs of offering their freeware.

    Thanks for your replies, as i had a look at Add/Remove Programs & removed other programs i didnt need as well, the yahoo search box came with The AVG toolbar but there's no evidence on that site, i was gonna download it again AVG 9.0 until i saw this on the site, as its telling me that the premium version is now free?

    Whats the diff now between the two now?
