Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Best price for a 450D?

    My Dad's looking to get back into photography having not picked up a camera in about 10 years. He had an Olympus SLR back in the day and a couple of entry level lenses, though nothing worth trying to buy a digital body for...

    He's played with my 450 a bit and given the main advantage of the 500D and 550D being video, is wondering if there's any good deals on the 450 out there at the moment. I'm certain I saw a good price on the 450D with 18-55 and 55-250 somewhere recently but can't remember for the life of me where it was!

    Pixmania have the body and 18-55 for €599,99.

    Warehouse Express (where I bought my own about 18 months ago) is approx €875.50 for the twin lens set.

    Anyone know of better prices on-line or in a bricks and mortar store around Dublin or Galway?

    Seems incredible that there's been no meaningful move in price since I got it almost 2 years ago and 2 new models have been released since!
