Patchy lawn?

I recently redone my lawn as i was revamping the whole drive/outside area anyway. I sprayed the old grass first,let it die,then ploughed the old sod,left for about 2 weeks then rotavated,levelled,raked,rolled etc. I spread the new grass seed with a proper walk behind thingy so coverage was spot on but i have some areas…

Some are small enough patches some are quite big. The rest of the lawn is flourishing and even after using more seed and raking in it just still wont take?
Any ideas what could be causing this or what i could do about it?
