Well I came across this link and thought it might be a bit of fun;

Ok, I'll start off;

Actually that was pretty terrible especially the fake blur and bad sepia - grrrrrrrrr @ picassa for making me think fake blur and sepia were good.

I'm not sure why it picked that photo as the least interesting as I've had others with less views and which I would consider even more boring.

i have a few on flickr with 0 views, comments or faves and they reckon this is less interesting....?!

This one is my 'worst' photo on pix.ie, in other words, the opposite end of pix.ie's rating scale from my 'best' one (using their secret formula of votes, views and comments, etc)

It's recent at least, I guess it's not very exciting, I was just out testing my zoom lens. Came across this moorhen nest. This is the mother, what you don't see in this one is the chick. the Male was off fishing and bringing back the catch to feed it. I caught one of him bringing some back too, which is slightly more interesting.

No idea what's up, not showing here when I link it.

Definitely uninteresting shot, this is the first but there was worse in the selection of 30, and no doubt far worse in my full photostream. I should go through it all and do a clean out but... eh.. who cares - if no one views the rubbish ones then they are harming no one.

it should be your yahoo mail or the username of the mail address you signed up to flickr with.

If you're looking for actual lomographic cameras and stuff here, Urban Outfitters stock them, aswell as that shop in meeting house square underneath the IFI, and the NGI has some stuff IIRC.

Overpriced and overhyped, but if you're into that sort of thing and have more money then sense then work away

Unfortunately, "Lomography" is really just an attempt at turning enjoying interesting film cameras into a marketable and profitable enterprise. It's been around for over a decade and their products are sold in thousands of stores around the world; I'd say every "western" country has a store that sells some of their merchandise.

The cameras they market are fine, but they tend to sell them at a ridiculous mark-up, although you could argue what they're selling is really the promise of being someone cool who takes "interesting" photographs and that they're offering instant nostalgia.

I just wish they weren't driving the price of previously laughably cheap cameras up and that people didn't associate the use of any film camera with "Lomography".
