Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all

does anyone have a suggestion for the best/fastest program for tagging photos?

has anyone seen the facebook tagging program where you click on an image and then your given a pop up window with peoples names that you can tag the photo with.

Is there a stand alone program for windows that you could use this for....it'd be handy to have all the family/friends name on a list that you could link to an image or even multiple images, or to even be able to add words to a list

I know Lightroom has the ability but i dont use lightroom and it'd probably be overkill to use it just for tagging

    any suggestions?

    Thanks

Picasa, tag one or two photos and it uses facial recognition to tag all your other photos of the same person.

Really? That sounds pretty fecking amazing. How accurate is it?

It's not bad, I think it learns more as you correct it too.

Sorry I've just opened it up, I was a little off with the description.

If you go to 'people' it presents you with representative thumbnails of everyone in your library, you then go through and give those people a name, so sometimes it'll pull every picture of a given person into one group, other times it has two or three groups per person, which you merge, and it then increases the accuracy for any new photos of existing people.

    Seriously cool tech.
