Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's 45 euro to enter this triathlon, doesn't that seem a bit steep? Do u need a one day licence aswell?

Its not a TI event, they will have sourced their own insurance. Some non-TI events still charge a one day licence but thats them fleecing people.

    Hi guys,

Tunney is correct it is not a TI event and as such we have sourced our own insurance which is comparable to the TI cover. We do not charge any One Day Licence or Levy. In addition we have a goodie bag which contains a HIGH 5 race pack which contains €20`s worth of gels and bars in addition to a t-shirt, water bottle and other goodies!

We think the price is in line with the rest of the events and hopefully even better value when all is considered.

Also if you enter as a relay team, every member recieves a goodie bag.

    Thanks

    Sounds great.
Just to ask, can relay team members be chaged closer to race day should anyone become unavailable?

    Thanks

Checked the site above for details for transferring competitor details closer to race day. i.e. If one person in the relay team can't make it come race day can someone else step into there place at short notice???
Can anyone confirm if this can be done?
    Thanks

    Hi all,

Just one week to go to the inaugural Clonea Gold Coast Sprint Tri. As it is the first year, numbers will be restricted to ensure safety of competitors at all times.

There are still places available, so if your a beginner, or just don`t fancy the "mass swim start", this may the event for you to dip your toe.

As mentioned above, excellent goodie bag for every competitor.

    All details at

Great race, well marshaled and fine weather. The organiser’s definition of a flat course was somewhat questionable as it definitely felt and looked like a hill on the bike course. There was great support on the beach and around transition, the goody bag had a Hi-5 selection box. Will put it in the calendar for next year.
