Harvey Pekar dies at 70

He died in his sleep, according to Bleedingcool. Most of the time when someone famous dies, my reaction is pretty much "hmm, that's sad for the relatives but I didn't know them so neh". Most of the time when someone famous dies, my reaction is pretty much "hmm, that's sad for the relatives but I didn't know them so neh". But given how personal Pekar's work was, it's a bit unsettling.

I think it'll be a long time before a new voice arrives in comics that's as distinctive as Pekar was.

just beat me to the post...A real shame and rendering an already lousy (now theres a word I never use in conversation) monday even more unpalatable.

Lets hope harvey doesnt rest in peace, he wouldnt be funny at all.
