Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Long shot but...loan of a drumkit for one month? (Dublin)

I know this is a long shot but a friend of mine is having an album launch at the beginning of August.

He has session musicians playing the gig with him. The rehearsal space he using up to this point doesn't have a kit and the kit he was supposed to be getting for the session drummer has fell through.

So basically he is looking for a small, quiet enough kit he could borrow for a month or so. I'm sure he would be able to throw one or two quid to anyone who is nice enough to consider loaning one to him!

Anyway, if anyone is able to help out then send me a PM or reply to this thread.

    Thanks!

He's actually a very good drummer. He agreed to do the gig and the rehearsals leading up to it as long as it was of the least amount of hassell to him. He needs his own kit for his own band which he's very busy with at the moment.

He's also not being paid for this and is doing it as a favour.

But thanks very much for you're extremely witty and smart arsed comment. I'm so very, very sorry that i didn't go into the exact specifics of this drummers credentials and the reasons as to why this kit is needed. Please for give me.

If anyone has any serious replies though I'm sure my friend would be very appreicitive though. I still know it's a long shot but sure I said I'd put the ad up for him anyway cause boards is generally a helpful forum.
