Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Problems after Windows 7 Upgrade

Following a Windows 7 upgrade on my 12 month old Toshiba Satellite, I've begun to experience serious problems at startup & shutdown.

Almost every time I shut down or lock the laptop it fails to start up.

I'm getting the dreaded blue screen & the coloured venetian blinds affect on my screen & the laptop freezes. If I do a shut down by holding down the power button, I can start up ok but I get the "Windows did not shut down properly" message.

It the suggests that I need to do a chkdsk but even if I allow this, it fails to run and suggests doing a restore to a previous date.

I'm just out of warranty so I'm snookered. Once started, the laptop runs without problem, so far!!!

    HELP!!!
