Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

when getting a long cert off of a GP for an illness longer term, is there a way to get it backdated so the SW know you have been ill for longer than the current long cert form you will turn up with from the GP to claim illness assistance/benefit?

and is there a copy of a .pdf or similar of the long cert on online anywhere  would be great to see it!

not sure what you mean by a long cert but illness benefit works as follows once you are certified sick from your doctor they and you fill in a form with your personal details and its sent off to illness benefit people, then every week you go back to doctor and get a yellow illness benefit form and fill it in and send it off or drop into local welfare office this is done weather you are short term or long term sick its only after months of being off sick that you can get your doctor to write to illness benefit saying that your forms are now monthly
as for back dating afaik they dont do that its only from the date that you first attend your doctor regarding illness however if you are only going on illness now and doctor is willing to back date forms then dont see why it wont be a problem but you should google illness benefit or go and chat to your doctor
