The man in question, 56-year-old Norio Imamura, has apparently posted pictures of himself on a personal blog because as he said “I had been getting these tattoos gradually for 10 years, and since they were almost complete I wanted to show them off.” the posting of these picture were followed by his arrest for obscenity. There is suspicion that his management of a tattoo-themed gay bar in Shinjuku might have been the real reason behind his persecution at the hands of police, instead of the pictures he took of his tattooed ass (aren't you glad i didn't post those).

The character he voiced, Ivankov, appeared to have been somewhat in character given their mutual interests.



This is the only picture i can find of those posted that will (hopeful) not get me banned, and hopefully for One piece fans this does not delay the show, and he get out as this law is stupid.

Also the obsenity law in Japan is quite bizarre. Even the most "innocent" of photos can get you in a world of trouble. Innocent managa fans should stick to their 9pm soft porn j-dramas instead
