    How old is it?

Microsoft extended their warranties for a lot of the older X boxes a year or two ago for models that suffered the lights of death.

My 360 was one of the launch day ones in 2005. It finally went down last year with the the three red lights of death and they fixed it for me free of charge and had a courier pick it up and sent it back to me. Whole thing took about ten days.

Check with Microsoft first before you go anywhere that will charge you.

It's actually quite easy to fix yourself, the RROD is just a bad solder issue, x clamp sorts it and it's fairly easy to install

Fonemenders(Useta be the Nokia store) in Catherine St do console repairs now.
The Fella who does the work for them is top notch too! I worked with him for a while and he's good at the job!
