    Halo 3
    Mass Effect 1/2
    Gears of War 1/2
    Fable II
    Red Dead Redemption
Bioshock 1 (Have to play 2 yet)
    GTA IV
    Half-Life 2 (Orange Box)
    Batman Arkham Asylum
    Assassin's Creed 2

    Arcade:
    Braid
    Shadow Complex

I could probably go on if my alcohol consumption hadn't had this much effect on my memory.

Nah, I am meaning to get my hands on it though. Seems like a rent though.

its got good replay content, lots of cool stuff and the achievements will make you want to get the most out of the game. probably the second best game of the year so far for me, after the glorious red dead redemption!

great list! fable 2 is under rated amongst the fans, it was great fun and really colourful, unusual in today's dark times!

Why the eek for F.E.A.R? Fantastic game.

Because it was scary, but only half as scary as Dead Space!:D

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 18,115 ✭✭✭✭ShiverinEskimo

Ah right. Thought you mean it was a controversial choice.

Dead Space was a touch freaky alright. But also a touch meh for me. When a game has to have a joke in it about how much fetch-quests you've to do because it's hundreds you know the designers ran out of ideas fast.

Burnout Paradise, have a soft spot for that game

For me it was the extended periods of calm and anticipation of something happening that made the scares more effective when they inevitably arrived. Same with F.E.A.R. Would love to see a game like Silent Hill 2 on 360. Kept me awake for a few nights!

Loved it when it came out but it didnt have the same "addictive as crack" effect on me as Burnout Takedown. Obsessed, I was!:)

Definately. The anticipation of being attacked was far worse than actually being attacked. Like when you walk into a large room that suddenly for no discernable reason locks down. Following is about 10 or 15 seconds of dread as the lights go out and the rattling/screams start.

    Cue new underwear.

Hey maybe I should post over on the Xbox forum and ask what their favourite Atari vcs game is . For balance like...;)

    Anyway I don't have a 360 so can't answer your question.

Your list is void because of Dynasty Warriors. :D Mine is Gears of War. Played the multiplayer for so long. The second one had a good single player but the multiplayer was shocking. if I wanted to play a game where all you do is hit people I would have bought Fight Night.

No, not really. Not ever. But it will never EVER make it onto one of these list so it's nice that it gets a chance for once.

    Fallout 3
    Battlefield BC2
    Fable 2
    Gears
    Halo 3
    Oblivion

you mentioned three classic games there, oblivion, portal and red dead redemption so i consider your list to be great!

There's your answer right there. You played approximately 1% of it.

    Top ten would probably be....

    #1 - Fallout 3
    #2 - Batman: Arkham Asylum
    #3 - Dead Space
#4 - Halo 3: O.D.S.T. (yeah the multiplayer's the same as 3, but I enjoyed the campaign more)
    #5 - Gears of War 2
    #6 - Darksiders
#7 - Super Street Fighter IV
    #8 - DJ Hero
#9 - Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands
    #10 - Soul Calibur IV

I would put Oblivion and the Orange Box on there, but I played them more on PC. Still classics though. Have Mass Effect 1/2 and RDR but have yet to play them enough to give a full opinion of them
