Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dura Ace Cable Housing Colours?

Do you know if Dura Ace outer cable housings only come in grey and can anyone recommend a good white outer gear and brake cable to go with a Dura Ace 9 speed set up. The inner wires themselves are fine but wouldn't mind changing the outers since I'll be changing the bar tape anyway. Anyone have any experience of the Goodridge brake housings or whether they'd be a suitable fit with dura ace http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=23407

On a side note does anyone know where I can get Smoke/White Camelbak Podium 24oz water bottles? They're last years colour and discontinued and the new smoke/red colour scheme wouldn't match my bike. Alternatively I could go for the frost/smoke or clear/black colours available on wiggle http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Camelbak_Podium_710ml~24oz_Water_Bottle/5360033553/
but unsure as to how the bottles will stain with sports drinks over time? The bike is predominately black with white decals and with small elements of white and blue.

    Thanks

You can use any cable housings you like. If going to the effort of changing the outers it would make no sense not to change the inners while you are at it IMO.

I've used the jagwire ones, they seemed fine

I got them from the website of the manufacturer of bikes that may not be mentioned on this forum. Although, to give you a hint it rhymes with "shmlanet X"

Dura Ace housings now come in black also (New Dura Ace 7900).
