Band practice spaces in Waterford city

    Hi Folks

    just wondering how man places there is around town for bands to rent rehearsal space/ studio..

    I know of Ruby Studio's in Tycor..

    what else is there? anyone care to contribute to a list of Studio/ Rehearsal spaces?

    I have'nt heard of anywhere but most bands just practice in their drummers garage or places like that.
    Waterford is certainly calling out for a proper rehearsal space like those in dublin.

    There is a mysterious new 'art space' after appearing on Lombard st. called SOMA, I think...

    Doesn't sound like somewhere for bands to practice unfortunately. We were looking for somewhere to practice for a while too but couldn't find anywhere suitable so we stayed in Ruby Studios. We have so much gear now we wouldn't fit anywhere else actually.

    The showboat has a room that not many people seem to know exist. Bands can rehearse there.

    and can it be hired per hours? I currently dont have a band, but I like to turn my amp loud sometimes and my neighbours dont :-)
