I'm all for debate about the show but to have a moan and a complaint because the graffiti on the wall was a bit big, It's not really a debate is it, It's down right nit picking

I think the graffiti was written too high up on the wall for them not to have used a step ladder but none was shown :D:D

Could be the communion scene will be a re-working of the christening scene in The Godfather 1.

Priest up at the altar in the nice leafy suburban church - "The Body of Christ"

    Nidge's big gob ajar

Meanwhile, elsewhere on the mean streets his foot soldiers are whacking Tommy, Danno etc, maybe one of the task force for good measure.

They're robocops with extendable legs. Helps with the painting and decorating nixers when they're not bouncing....(whoops, another explanation there).

That would actually be pretty cool to be fair, It would put all of our theories of his son been killed to shame

Maybe the graffiti was very small and the tv cameras just make it 10 times bigger :D

Not whinging, Just pointing out that not every tv show is perfect, Just sit back and enjoy it if you don't enoy it, turn it off that is the beauty of the remote control, Nobody forces you to watch anything

Just because some points may irk someone or have them a bit perplexed doesn't mean that they aren't enjoying the show. As you said, no show is perfect, and it's the imperfections that irk us.

Ye I tried to quote that earlier, by far the most important line Nidge has ever spoken.

I reckon young warren will be shot at, Aobhinn ginnity said recently it was gonna be slower paced but even darker than the previous three:eek:

Nothing wrong with having a discussion about the show and how you think it will turn out that is one thing but when you get people putting the show down constantly season after season and nit picking the smallest of detail then it goes beyond discussion and it becomes attention seeking, The majority of the nit picking and questions asked today for example could have very easily have been answered if they watched the show last night and if they remembered other episodes from last week etc but that would just get in the way of their nit picking

in season 2 where Nidge summarizes his entire persona, saying he doesn't care about anything or anyone except Warren, and now presumably young John as well.

Its a disgrace that he doesn't care about the woman who helped him produce Warren and John Delaney.

Nidge has two sides: he has a caring side and a tough side. His speech to Darren about not caring about anything only Warren shows a mix of the two: he does care about Warren, his new son, Trish, and obviously Darren too. What makes Nidge likeable is that he does have a caring side. Some of Nidge's softer moments include:

-His utter revulsion at being ordered to pipe bomb Fran's house with Linda (Fran's then girlfriend) in it. Don't anyone tell Fran !!:D
-His breaking down crying to Trish when he has to kill Darren for the IRA.
-His moving Trish and Warren out of the house in case they get attacked. This was part of series 2 and something similar will come up in season 4 too.
    -His visiting Darren's grave.

It said in the Indo today that he had the okay from the powers that be, that he did the filming during his annual leave and that acting isn't a prohibited activity in any event....

There is an investigation into the actual Garda who plays the part of one of the detectives, the one with the beard. What harm is he doing?

Would a sub forum cut out some of this nit picking?

I know there was a failed request last year but seems a lot of potential for more than enough separate threads IMO

Basic historical information request threads for example
    The locations thread
    Episode threads
    Predictions
    Soundtracks
    So called continuity errors
    Allegories and hidden meanings
    Wire rip offs
    Sopranos rip offs
    etc

Edit: + Nit pickers criticism thread

Rte are the worst for spoilers, even at the end of each show they give away the whole basics of next weeks story, I turn it off straight at the end now.

Anyone else think it was a little strange when Nidge and Siobhán were talking outside the court, and there was no mention his mother/presumably her grandmother being in hospital?

Oh yeah!!! Forgot that Siobhán was Nidge's niece (or something). Was only really mentioned in Season One, wonder was it just a bit of a continuity error.

Early days, yet. Don't worry. Carolan will have something big for the shít to hit the fan in the next few episodes. Don't fret...
