Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can anyone out there please advise me on what flash would be best to use for wedding photography. I am using a Nikon D300. Someone suggested a ring flash but i'm not sure. I thought that was only for macro.

You might want to move to a different section, not many viewers here in the challenge section.
On the flash issue, first of all flash photography is not allowed in a lot of churches. First thing I was told in a recent wedding course is get a decent camera and a decent set of lenses. F2.8 or greater. Use the natural light for best results.
I've never seen a photographer at a wedding with a ring flash, I cant imagine there would be much light. Most important thing if u use flash is get it off the shoe! Remote trigger. My two cents.

Thanks for that. Do you know what section I should look in? I'm not entirely new to this but it's ages since I've been on boards.
Looks like I may have to take a wedding photography course. Just as well its just a casual affair. The wedding reception, I mean.
