Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Volume Control Problem

    Hi,

I bought Logitech Speakers around 2 weeks ago and they were working great up until 2 days ago.

The volume goes mute after I have them on about 5 mins. I went into Volume Control and the section for wave was turned down to the bottom. When I put it back up the sound came on.

Now every 5 mins the sound goes mute whether im watching something on VLC, Showtime or listening to something on iTunes and I have to click each time on the wave section in Volume Control to get sound back.

Anyone ever have this problem before or know what the hell is going on or how to fix the problem?

    Thanks for the help.

did you have a virus or did mbam find anything?

If not re-install the audio drivers for your computer and if your speakers came with a disc re-install that as well ( although not required, the speakers should just work out of the box if it's an audio out connection )

On my pc,i installed superantispyware, malware bytes anti spyware,i used drivermax free program to back up my drivers folder,to my drivers, copied my drivers to a cdr.i ran 3 scans, full, scan ,boot scan ,found 3 viruses.and 38 ADWARE cookies.
BASICALLY I HAD To REINSTALL WINDOWS IN C WINDOWS Directory ,deleted old files ,to get the sound back to normal, it just kept going to zero, wave volume every few minutes.
ON a laptop its very important to back up drivers, otherwise its a nightmare ,ie the os will always miss a few ,i used drivermax to import 5 drivers after the windows install.i copied my mp3s,and documents/favorites etc to c:\ new folder.
