Plum Tree

Hi i planted a plum tree 2 years ago, its doing very well about 8ft tall and all looks well. The problem is iv had no flowers and hence no fruit of it .Does anyone know how long it may take to get fruit on the tree or is there anything i should be doing

Maybe it's getting caught by early frosts, especially if it's in an exposed site. This will kill off the buds before they develop...
