Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Networking trips mileage expense question

    Hi,

I am self employed working on a contract in Kerry. I usually live in Dublin but have moved to Kerry for the duration of the contract. I am aware you connot claim mileage for trips to and from work but can I claim expenses for networking trips to Dublin/Louth? These networking trips would not relate to my current contract/company but they are business related.

What other types of mileage can be claimed? I am aware you cannot claim for trips to and from the office.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi

As you have moved to kerry for the duration of the contract you are effectively site based and your office is effectively in Kerry at the place where you are working.

Therefore if you are travelling on networking trips to Dublin etc then this woudl be allowable.

    Kind Regards
