Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

good spot lumen, a seller on adverts said he bought it for 400euros, which i find very hard to believe,
selling it for 250, what the heck. any ideas where they sell this contraption. google doesn't even know:confused:

Santa is sexually assaulting the snowman!

    Is that it?

EDIT: It looks like one of those Super Valu/Tesco bikes people seem to love putting their mothers on. Probably cost 100 euro. Awful!

No. It's the anti-euro reflectors on the wheels...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,142 ✭✭✭✭Lumen

Backwards forks aside, given the fact that Blast Ranger doesn't even have a website, I'd say it's safe to assume its a supermarket mountain bike.

The Blast Ranger's I bought were got about 5 years ago from Supervalue (not Dunnes Mockler, my mistake). They were €99 at the time. I bought a red one for myself and a black one for the missus.

It's an OK bike for casual use which is all we used them for but it's certainly not worth several hundred Euro.

Perhaps this is the Blast Ranger XXX SL Pro Race Edition, with backy fork for more responsive handling.

this guy actually swears he bought it for 400,
And he also asked me whats wrong with the forks,
Not even noticing he has them on the wrong way
he has since dropped the price to 150, what a bargain, nooooooot
I retract what i said, that this has made my day, it has made my year

Just asked SWMBO about the 'bike shop near the friary' in Ennis (she's a local) - it is there, though apparently it's definitely more of a bike-shaped-object shop. Some joke.

Mockler at this stage you've won on the 3 knock-down rule, it'd be cruel to go on (but don't stop :D)

brilliant. bold face lying - you have to respect the dedication he has shown on some level.

I think you can say you have done enough Mockler. It annoys me when people try and rip folk off like that but I think you should just report it to the adverts chaps and move on.

    Good find though.
