    A family friend applied as a mature student this year!
    And he was told that the offers will be out tomorrow but on the cao website it says 9th of august I think!
    He applied at NUIG,did anyone else hear this?

    Round A of offers which is the first round that mature students hear was on July 7th. The next round is on Aug 5th which is for FETAC students and more mature offers.

    After than there is a round on 23rd of Aug (Round 1 for Leaving Cert) and then the 2nd of Sept.

    Maybe what was meant was that the universities would know if there were any places going in the next round as people offered places last week had until 2 days ago to accept or reject. But any official offers would not be until the poster above said.

    Some unis might ring an applicant with an offer. Some will wait until it goes through CAO. He could ring the department in NUIG and they might tell him one way or the other.
