Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Really? Was he factory unlocked? I could never get FT to activate for me on meteor.

Just out of interest, has anyone used FT over 3G? What is the quality like etc?

    Yes, an unlocked iPhone 4.

Quick question: Im thinking about switching to Three and getting the iPhone on billpay, how likely would it be that I would be eligible for an upgrade in June for the next iPhone? (yes i know Im a sucker for apple products :D)

I know its crazy talking about the next one before Ive even got the 4, but I like to plan ahead...

Someone said upgrades after 16 months of an 18 month contract, so I'd guess no. As if you'd get a new iPhone here before August anyway.

That's only the beginning of it, three have a vast array of sites blocked within their network.

Anyone know if it's possible to get an itemised breakdown of usage on 3pay?

OK, I did ring them and they said OK, we will unlock your iphone 4, but you have to pay €25 and it will take about 10 days... After two weeks they called me, that my iphone can be unlocked only if I pay another €1000 :-( No joke. If I knew this I wouldn't buy it. Now I have to wait f...ing 18 months. Or is there any other way, how to make them unlock it or cancel the contract without any big fees? Thanks everyone for help

well it's actually for tethering I need it for...
I can dial into my NAS at home and kick off rapidshare downloads...however when tethering 3 are blocking the page I use...
any chance ringing them up and bitching like frak at them might do something?

Is there anyway I can find out on 3pay how much I'm spending on top ups? I can only recall the last top up 2 weeks ago of €20 but now I'm down to less than €5 so will be topping up by €20 again soon, so maybe the €40/month rolling contract bill pay is worth a look.

I just can't tell how often I'm generally topping up because I don't remember!

For what it's worth if you're going through 20 so quickly and can manage the extra 20 a month I'd have a serious look at bill pay. Put it this way, an extra fiver a week on top of your regular 20 gets you an iPhone 4!

Apple's sales figures have always been a general secret, now and again they give teasers but there is no official figure available to the public.
Regarding three, again I doubt they will bother releasing these figures but I'd say there well up there due to their competitive pricing.

    I'm using the iPhone 4 ;)

I rang customer service there and since I switched back from O2 in June I've spent €20 a month at the same time every month. I guess this month is just a busy one for me!

As tempting as it is, I wouldn't spend nearly 6 hours talking per month on my phone, and texting is light enough too. Think I'm better off sticking with pre-pay at the mo.

EDIT: Though I'd love to get a breakdown of how many minutes and texts I send per month. I might just sign up for 2 or 3 months for that.

What are people using for international texts. Also, how do you do the calls to uk mobiles using your units? I'm wondering if I'm missing a special 3 app on my iPhone 4? (upgraded from a 2g and it carried my apps and settings over).

Is 4.1 that great? I'm thinking of hacking to tether to my iPad...

They already have an exploit - so should only be a few weeks until a jailbreak is released. I'd hold off updating for now :)
