Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

External hard drive problems

My computer won't read my external hard drive. I have an imac running windows and have tried it on both the windows and mac os and neither will recognise it. I've also hooked it up to my macbook and that won't read it either.
When I turn on the hard drive on windows it makes the new hardware sound but still doesn't seem to be connected.
The imac has been really slow on start up for the last 2 weeks. I couldn't figure it out and had scanned the computer etc but nothing major showed up. When I hooked the external hard drive up to the macbook it also took ages to turn on. Once the hard drive is unplugged both computers turn on fine.

Anyone know what the problem could be? Any chance of recovering it? Or any tips on how to go about it?
