Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where to get Tamron lens repaired?

    Hey guys,

    Dropped my Tamron 17-50 (Non VC) earlier, just about a foot but enough to make it not focus anymore.. not cool. :cool:

    Anyone know where I can get it fixed.. and fast?! I'm travelling around Europe at the end of August so I'm desperate to get it back soon or I'll have to get something to replace it.

    I can help as I do repairs :)
    the only long wait will be the parts. PM me the details of the lens...cracks...noises etc... to give me a better idea, could be something simple. no long wait for it to be fixed either as Ill fix fast.

    Actually the element arrived yesterday after a lengthly wait and slow postage by the canon dealer and I should have it ready tomorrow afternoon for you :) (only posted on tuesday when I rang to ask where it was)

    as for the 2X extender I am waiting on parts because canon sent the wrong parts to the dealer but should have them next week so all is looking well.

    Ill give you a shout tomorrow when the 70-200mm is done.
