Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello,
I've been trying to connect a portable DVD player to a TV but I'm only getting the sound thru. The player has a yellow "AV out" socket. Wrong cable? I would very much appreciate a bit of help. Thank you.

THe other end of the cable should have red or white colored ends that you slot into the matching colored slots on the back of your tv, I think...

    Hi,
Thanks very much for your reply. I've tried that and all possible variations including connecting to another tv and still only sound. The DVD player didn't come with any cable, so I'm just blindly searching for the right one.

It was a wrong cable after all. It's all sorted now.
