winner of kilomarathon was Noel Kelly in 1.31.45. Brian Murphy was second and Colm Burke was third

Did it myself today. Very tough, very warm and hills, hills, hills! Thought I might come in at 2:10 with those hills and my already tight hamstrings, so I was pleased enough with my 2:09. Faded the last few miles though as the hills took all I had!
Well organised, and registration, parking etc were spot on. All very friendly too. The 2 mugs of tea I had in the hall were just beautiful!

Same here. The only place that was a bit dodgy was just before the 9k mark where the kilomarathon went left and the 10k went right. There were marshalls there and the road markings were on the road but they were hard to read until you were upon them. The marshalls didn't spot us as we were amongst the kilomarathon runners (I wasn't mad running through the back markers of the kilomarathon as we had to overtake outside the hard shoulder, my 1 and only gripe and it wasn't a major one either). Having said that the guy I was talking to didn't take this wrong turn so I don't know where he went wrong.

Super day out. A real community event complete with children races; Uillean Pipes; and Rose of Tralee ! Very social race (Kilomarathon). Tough course - very well organised. Great support en route also. I'll be back next year - might even stay the night !

i was expecting a hard run but that was too much, i ran the half marathon in connemara this year and the hills down there don't compare with yesterday. Finished in 2hr 30mins so happy i completed the course but don't think i'll return. It was well organised and the tea at the end was a life saver

my wife did the results as back up to red tag timing. the results should be on their website in next day or so. if not i will put them on facebook- tinryland road race or club site tinryland.ie
well done to tony and his crew who did a great job considering this was his first race to organise and hope he made lots of money for crumlin

yeah its def going to be on again this year after the huge success of last year. only change will be to make it an easier and faster course. as soon as i get info i'll post it on boards

looking to enter this race again this year but there doesn't seem to be any place to sign up. Also there is no pricing or details available on run Ireland or any other sites.

Does any one have any more details?

Really enjoyed this event last year. Why would you want to change the course:(:(. It was challenging in parts but certainly not too difficult. Only change I would make is to the afternoon starting time. A morning start time then everything would be ideal...;)
