Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Lad's,
I starting off a new thread for all who only purchased & have used the new XBOX.

Please post your initial opinions so that others thinking of buying can help decide if it's worth investing in.

    I'll be posting mine tomorrow...

I picked one up today and I'm pretty impressed with it. While I was connecting the cables, I hit off the power button and didn't even realise it was on, it was so quiet.

To connect to an Elite or older the kinect will need a seperate main's connection I think.

Hey dodohert, where did you get it for €223.98 if you don't mind me asking.

Yep. One of the main reasons I upgraded was because of the noise. It's silent. My tv is louder FFS!!

    Sh!t, now I want a new TV.

Ya same here, the only reason Im thinking of upgrading is the noise my current elite makes.

put a deposit down on mine, I'm trading in an Xbox arcade with 60 gb hardrive detachable extra, so instead of paying 250 euro for the new xbox i'll be paying 168 euro.

Anyone get any better deals out there?

    My verdict = YES

    It's sleek, quiet and small!

Dissapointed that there was no data transfer kit included! Also dissapointed that the controller supplied is not a rechargeble one! Dissapointed that no hdmi cables were included aswel.!
It is what it is, an xbox that plays xbox games!
    It is quite though:-D
