Yup, I decided to step down because I wasn't really active in the forum (apart from the restaurant thread and breaking up fights!).
It wasn't in my best interest (or the forum's best interest) to stick around.

Congrats Insect Overlord..... As you are also a mod of Clearasil & Hormones, I can't think of a better person to co-mod this forum. :)

This is the official procedure here:

First off, we have been asked to remind everyone that there is a procedure for choosing new moderators for a forum in case you need to do so:

First, you talk amongst yourselves and come up with some suggestions.Then, you drop a PM to your CMods with those suggestions. We may PM back and forth a bit on the list at that point if there's any obvious stuff.

Then the CMod asks for Admin approval for the candidates you and we worked out.

The Admins review the candidates and give the CMods their decision and we pass that back to you guys.

At this point - and this is the most important bit, only at this point, do you send a PM to the user asking them if they are interested in the position.
If they agree, you let us know, we let the admins know, and they push the necessary buttons and we go welcome the new initiate to the sanity.

Hopefully the Admins won't mind me posting that here...
