dont know if this is the right spot for this thread but hear goes.

after installing the above car kit in a hyundai coupe when ever a call is made or received there is awful interfereance, echoing and feedback from the speaker. iv made sure the speaker and the microphone are more the the stated distance apart but still have the problem.

iv even had them at opposite end of the car and it still happens.

can anyone help me out?

Your install is probably fine, is the car kit old? and what phone are you using it with. This normally happens on some old software versions. Try different phones and see does it improve. It could either be the carkit firmware, or your phones. Some phones wont be effected by it.

I had one of these before, and found things improved significantly if I faced the speaker towards the ground. Sounds odd I know but seemed to work!

yeah the car kit is old maybe 5 years i had it sitting in the wardbrode for ages.

il try face the speaker down and see if that works.

i got the same kit in and the only time it made an echo was when the person i was talking to was in the car.
