    Do you generally have to have registered your product, to avail of the 12 month guarantee, say like a washing machine, the drum bearing just went, its about 11 months old and got used a fair bit but nothing mad :confused:

    No is the short answer, what brand is it? I know Bosch will register it for you when you ring to get a service guy out and then you just have to show him sight of the receipt etc to prove purchase date and the matter should be fixed free of charge, doesn't matter how much you have used it (providing its not being used for business) they still have to cover it.
