Hi, What u think the chance of the bank giving me a 2nd mortgage? Have house up for sale, can't sell...prob rent out and move to new location...think there are some bargains where i'm going so rather then rent, thinkin g of buying!! Also, what's implications of having 2 properties besides CGT if I sell the 1st house?? tanx…

Can you afford to pay two mortgages?
Have you savings to put towards new property?
Have you a stable/secure income?

If you can answer 'yes' to the above then you may get a second mortgage - if not then very unlikely.
