Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Those are the latest comments from the Live Cycling site - bit presumptious to assume 5 minutes is a done deal on a 30km climb? Can't see them being caught but is certainly possible.

Really hope there's some big breaks on this climb...

They're up to 7 minutes now.
It's a big enough group with some strong guys in it. I reckon at least 2 or 3 will stay in front all the way. If Armstrong gets to the finish with Horner then you'd have to fancy him for the win. Cunego could do something if he survives the Aubisque.

Didn't LA gift Pantani that stage and Pantani was furious

Just saw Roche again, still in the middle of the peloton and looking okay.

And another Irish flag at the roadside!

Cunega has history with LA. He definitely won't be gifting. GCE are also challenging Radioshack for the team so can't see them gifting anything

    What's the Cunego-Armstrong beef?

...and he's still in the middle of the peloton.

Eurosport has just spent the last 15 minutes talking about cycling books and films. Rather than commentating on the last few kms of the climb.

well thor is over top and is great descender so should stay with this main group no bother, which means he is fighting for pts from 9th postions down to 20th i think at the finish line.

I think you might be looking at Chris Horner. He wears the yellow mavics.

Lance persists in his black shoe'd wrongness.

Yeah, there he is now, mocking with his grey socks and black shoes. He just reminds me of a postman, albeit a super strong postman.

    And another Irish flag!
There appear to be a good smattering of Roche supporters out there, well done to them for making the effort.

    Animal ride from Thor Hushovd.
He deserves some points for that.
It would be a shame if the Spa fiasco robbed him of Green jersey.
