Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sony Nex-5 (where to buy in Florida?)

    I got a demo of the Sony Nex-5 while I was in Bellevue, WA last week. I decided to do a bit more research before commiting to buy.

    I'm happy to buy it now. I happen to be travelling to Florida this week for a vacation... so does anyone know of any decent camera stores in Orlando/Palm Bay area that would be worth shopping around for prices on the Nex-5?

    You might also like to check out my blog on the NEX cameras: NEXtended.

    There's a few articles up there looking at suitable bags and accessories for the NEX and why I reckon the 18-55 lens is a better bet than the 16mm prime (basically because I'm expecting some much better primes from Sony and/or Zeiss)

    Advice:

    Steer clear of Sony stores near International dr.
    Rip off. Wanted $1299 for Nex 5.

    Same camera in Ritz Camera... $699.
    Great customer service too.

    I ended up buying the Nex 3 for $599.
    Only difference was size + 1080.

    That seems like a pretty good price, especially compared to the retail prices in UK / Ireland. What do you think of the NEX-3 so far?
