Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lynn, I love this. It's got all the classic ingredients for making great photos. Shallow DoF, Engaging the camera, Motion and gesture, Light use of props to complement and not overpower the image. I love too the way you use scarfs and hats in your images to help frame the subject. Not to mention your young daughter who has obviously learned how to work the camera under your instruction.

    As usual, excellent work! :)

do people leave the boartds default of 15 posts per page?
i have it at 30. makes going backwards and forwards within threads less necessary. but it does mean that when people reference page numbers, i have to do a quick bit of mental arithmetic.

Thanks, keps. It would have been bigger, but I had to crop it because, as I later found out when I got home, there was some little fleck of something on the lens.

Looks like it turned out for the best.

    Thanks again!

This is the White Horse, painted on a rock beneath a local castle. There are so many stories about the damn thing that nobody seems to know how it came about. I've been wanting to take photos of it for ages, but it's very tricky because it is hard to get to. You can only see it from a very narrow road, so I was in the middle of a ditch with cars zooming past inches from my ass :D

Most common story is the the lady of house's nag lept off the cliff killing the woman.

It's a feckin' mare to get a shot at, well done on it.

Nice shot Andy, nice to see you're putting the lens to use straight away. I just checked the settings, f4.5, 1/60 sec ISO 400. You definitely need more light. If you want to borrow the ringlite for a while, just let me know.
