Houston to Tyrrelstown

Was wondering is there anything going to Tyrrelstown from Houston St, or any other place in the city centre? I'm new to Dublin and still not too familiar with the public transport. AFAIK there's no trains to Tyrrelstown...

There's only one Dublin bus that goes from the city centre that goes to Tyrrelstown which is the 40D. The bus stop is at Parnell st. Across the road from the Ambassador. If you can make your way up to O Connell st, you'll be grand.

Yeah it stops in the town centre. The town centre is just a few shops surrounded by the houses.

There's the 40D and the 38C, but the 38C is very infrequent. Get the 40D and it stops in Tyrellstown beside the shops.
