Best Pub You've Ever Been in?

To be a bit more upbeat than the "dodgiest pub" thread, what's the best pub you've ever been in?

Mines was in a pub called Zum Uerige in Dusseldorf, we walked in, sat down and within about 3 seconds we all had a glass of Alt beer (the local brew) in front of us with one having asked for it. Everyone else was drinking the stuff so we couldn't figure out if the waiter just likes to take the piss out of tourists or if he decides that everyone has to drink beer. Aside from that the place was class, really clean, had seemingly taken over half the street outside with beer garden space and had a pub grub menu that was full of manly dishes consisting solely of meat, bread and cheese.

A sportsbar in Vancouver. Flatscreens on every square inch of the walls AND a mini golf course going round the entire bar. Awesome

Check out videos of this place on Youtube (cant provide links, in work).

Its mental, they recreate Hollywood movies with acrobats.

Should check out "The Passion of the Christ"!

Can't remember the name of this one but it's in Victoria on Vancouver Island.
It's a tiny little place where all the bar staff look lie lumberjacks in dungarees, and everyone who comes in wrties a not and glues it somewhere on the wall.
Also, many of the ladies who visit are courteous enought to hang their bra/knickers from the ceiling.
But to top it all off you get a bucket of roasted and salted monkeynuts with every drink and you just throw the shells on the ground. The floor of the bar is about 6 inches deep in monkeynut shells.
I've never seen any place like it, its a great laugh

I love a couple of pubs both inside and outside in Prague, Munich and Holland. I cant think of the names!! but these are in the city centre area. I think it has to do with the crowd we had and a few of others join in with us and we had a ball. Beers are great there.

In Paris by the Louve area I think it is what they spell? It was lovely to have a glass of wine or two outside by the rest./bar and when it gets dark - all the street lights switched on...it was beautiful...

Another vote for the Quids Inn. What a way to spend a bleak winters day on the Isle of Man.
