Desire screen flashing

Just have my Desire a few days so maybe I missed something in the settings but when the phone is locked the screen will flash for a second and sometimes stay on the lock screen. I have disabled everything and have no notifications. Its really annoying as I can see it out of the corner of my eye. I'm running the modaco…

Try a different ROM maybe, to see if it's a fault in the modaco?
