Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

RENT ALLOWANCE: CWO lady lost all my documents..

    feking hell, going mad here. have been applying for rent allowance on and off since last September, i was told because i was getting no income i couldn't get it.

    I have been getting social welfare since march so I was eligible and re applied and gave in all forms and past rent slips in case I would get any back rent.

    I had to go and get more letters from college and stuff saying i was finished college and it dragged on. I was told I would get rent from end of college term onwards.

    so i get a letter today basically saying she lost everything except the latter from college saying my course is over and etc.

    she wants me to resubmit two forms, as well as bank statements, forms of id and 6 months or more of past rent slips

    what a joke, i already did all that and have no more slips for rent.! I was ages getting all that stuff to her and she proceeds to lose it all.

    one one occasion they couldn't even photocopy my documents (the copier was down) and i had to do it and bring in copies.

    I am going into her tomorrow, can I take this up with some other people from the hse, (ie her boss...!).
