Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

if it is still doing this without the battery then it is not that
if you hit F12 on bootup does it offer a Diagnostics option? or if you have the original disks you can boot it from there
run that and see if it is a hardware problem first

if it wont go past post / bios it wont be related to SP2 .. take out the battery - remove the power - hold power button for 10 seconds to reset cmos , reinsert battery and power and try again

Thanks for the replies, the problem turned out to be a connection between the motherboard and the cd/dvd drive...
