    Hi would appreciate your help with this.

    I've met someone through another forum who is taking part in a competition and would like to ask people to vote for her as she is deserving of it. Can I do this and if so where? I'm asking because I know you're not allowed to advertise but unsure if this counts.

    I'm sorry, we prefer not to have threads started requesting votes for people, regardless of how deserving they may be. If we allow one, before long we'll be inundated with them and they'll adversely affect users' enjoyment of boards.
