Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Red Dead Redemption: Need help with Treasure Hunter Outfit

First off, Im not sure if this is in the right place, I hope it is. If not, sorry admins.

I'm trying to get 100% in red dead and still need the Treasure Hunter Outfit. The last scrap I need is for bringing in a Treasure Hunter Bounty alive, which seems simple. The problem is I have brought in 4 Treasure Hunter Bounties alive and still havnt unlocked the outfit.

More Info: I took 3 wanted posters from Rathskeller Fork and 1 from Armadillo, 3 of the bounties were in Silent Stead(2 from rathskeller and the 1 from armadillo) and the other bounty target was just south of MacFarlanes, cant think of the name.

So my question is: is this a known glitch, or are there any suggestions for a fix.... or will I just keep doing what I'm doing and try the bounties over and over until the game catches up?

Hmmm been a while, but as far as I know not glitched. Just make sure that the bounty is actually a treasure hunter and not one of the others.

Yup, the bounty can be gotten from Rathskeller Fork and as calex71 said, you just need to make sure it's one of the Treasure Hunter gang. I took me awhile to get it but keep plugging away and eventually it'll appear.

Yup, he has to be from the gang, it'll say it on the poster!

    I got it!

I noticed that the locations weren't registering in the stats either as I was stuck @ 6/8 in New Austin, so I did a little searching and realised that was my problem (Not that the outfit wasnt registering but that the location itself wasnt registering - therefore not counting for the outfit)

Turns out this is a glitch where it doesnt count as completing the location if you snipe at them from a distance instead of going close - which I was. So I walked right into their hideout, killed the unmercifull piss out of everyone that wasnt the target, hogtied him, brought him back to the jail and bob's my uncle!
