Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There is a Sky News app for Android, but there is a subscription to access live video.

I think the sky news app must be 1.6 or something as i've never been able to find it 2.1 or 2.2! I just have the website bookmarked on my phone but it won't let you view videos.

They seem to have put most of their energy into the iphone app and neglected Android.

More and more companies are offering Android flavours of their apps, I'd say its only a matter of time before its the norm to be releasing the app on all OSs

Install a 2.2 ROM or wait 3 odd weeks til its out officially, then you can watch rte live and rteplayer from the browser on your phone.

Excellent, thanks. Will this official update also include the wifi hotspot so I could share my phones 3g signal with an ipad?

So, realistically, are you expecting the 2.2 update to arrive sometime in August?

I saw videos of people using rteplayer already and I have no idea if they updated it themselves. :S

No, Nathan's latest ROM Froydvillain, doesn't have Flash 10.1 on it so the RTE player won't work
