Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Well,

If I were to buy a camper van to use for hiking and surfing hols in Ireland; what are the rules of parking up? I would be buying it to cut out paying for camping site fees.

Are there rules about parking up with a camper overnight streetside or in overnight parking spaces?

    Thanks

there are no rules as such, just common sense. park quietly out of the way , dont block an entrance , behave yourself , dont cause a disturbance ,if you see locals have a chat let them see you mean no harm , dont leave rubbish around , dont leave off waste water ,if you have a dog keep it under control ie dont let it worry livestock.
you should have no trouble if you follow those simple things.
take nothing but pictures , leave nothing but footprints.
    enjoy it.
