i dont think its that dodgy to insure that way its in the booklet you get from quinn its says if you have a car in your own name and the policy is in your name that you are coverd third party on any car as long as its taxed nct and you are not the registerd owner however you are not coverd if its a van or a work car

dude just wait 2 years and dont crash another car, 4 years ncb and being 25 will help you out a lot more .. get something fun that hasnt been captured by the JP-Blue-Gangster-Lean brigade , even an m3 would be cheaper to insure

It's trying to pull a fast one - and the insurer will do anything to deny liability. 3rd party extension is designed to provide minimal cover - for example driving someone else's car (maybe a family member or friend) for a short distance/period.

It's not intended to provide free cover for high performance vehicles.

It's not hard to know dude. And you know it ;)

Whatever you do, don't tell porkies to insurance companies.

You are covered provided they cant prove that you are driving the car full time. If they can prove that however they will hang you out to dry. And Quinn are notorious for finding any way at all out of paying out... Its quite a big risk to take.

Plus the fact, as said above, you have literally zero cover on your car no matter what happens to it, so unless you can afford to walk away from the car in the even of an accident or can afford to repair it at your own expense then you are wasting your time.
