Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Appealing Illness Benefit?

Hi I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice.
I've been claiming illness benefit for a couple of years, long story, and have applied for the BTEA as I am going to college in Sept. Anyway I had a review last week for the illness benefit and received a letter today to say that they are stopping my illness benefit as from this week. this means that I will have a period of about 6 weeks? before I received my BTEA payment. I really can't manage without any money, am I better off appealing the decision for the illness benefit and letting it go through the system until I get my BTEA or should I apply for JSA/JSB?
    Any advice?

It would probably take up to six weeks for your JSA/JSB to come through but you cant go without money thats not right you should go to your local CWO and tell them whats going on and apply for emergency payment until your BTEA comes through
best of luck woth your course and sorting out your payments
