Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Guys, where would I get a new lead to use in my battery charger as the one I had just broke :( The plug part and the charger is fine its just the lead part that connects into the laptop - that metal bit has just snapped on me?

I have a HP Compaq Presario and I haven't got a clue where to go or how much this might cost?

Call HP for a quote on one. Or take a look online, choose your model and then look under batteries/chargers/adaptors.

If they're too expensive, then look at a universal one such as this.

Maplins sell them. Expensive but they're cheaper from what I've heard, than PC World or Soundstore. Just make sure you bring in your laptop so they can configure the charger for you there in the store.

If you think the charger still works, and you know someone who can solder, you might get a replacement plug in Maplin

Thanks guys, this is the first time I've been able to use the internet since.

I've found one on amazon for a tenner so I'm hoping it works
